Celebrity Hunted team James Acaster and Ed Gamble managed to find time to make some permanent memories as they continued their journey on the run.

The pair had managed to survive being found by the Hunters for seven straight days, and in Tuesday night’s (11th April) episode, the Off Menu podcast hosts decided to seek refuge at a tattoo shop in Bristol.

Not ones to let an opportunity for comedy gold to just slip through their fingers, comedian James decided to bring forward an idea to tattoo his fellow stand-up star.

“I’m going to give you a tattoo to commemorate being on the run,” James told Ed, who quickly asked if he could then return the favour, which James quickly shot down.

“You’ve never done it before…I’m a quick learner,” James replied.

Seemingly very willing to take part, Ed then hopped up on the tattoo table, and let his partner-in-crime start to permanently etch out a design on his leg.

The design in question was a tally chart showing seven strikes for each day they’ve survived the challenge. It’s certainly something worth celebrating!

After getting some ink, the duo then decided to mock the entire Hunted team by returning to a location they know extremely well - the Taskmaster house.

Both James and Ed have appeared on the beloved Channel 4 game show, and admitted they knew the house “like the back of [their] hand”, but did they know it well enough to escape the clutches of the Hunters? Viewers were treated to a rather dramatic cliffhanger which involved a on-foot chase of James while he squirted a water gun at the Hunted team.

Meanwhile, Celebrity Hunted fans watched on last week as Nicola Thorp became the first star caught during the Stand Up To Cancer special series.

After being captured at a Birmingham hotel, This Morning star Nicola said: "I can't lie, I'm absolutely devastated. I was so determined to make it to the end, but I started this thing on my own. I've now passed on that baton, and I hope that [fiance Nikesh Patel] can make it all the way.”

Watch Celebrity Hunted for Stand Up To Cancer on Channel 4 and All 4.
