Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield rumoured ‘to take a break from This Morning’

This Morning could look very different soon as it's alleged that Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will be 'taking a break' from the show.

The claim comes following weeks of 'feuding' between the pair.

Celebs such as Matthew Wright and Lorraine have all weighed in on the unease in the This Morning camp.

There has been reports that the friendship between Holly and Phil has been "dwindling" of late.

According to one source: "To those around them on set, it has become clear recently that Holly and Phil are not as close as they once were."

"Professionally you would have no idea there was anything going on because on camera they are acting exactly the same."

They told The Sun: ‘But behind the scenes their relationship has cooled.’

Phillip released a statement disputing the claims, insisting they were both "best friends" still after their decades of working together.

The latest reports claim that Holly has been considering leaving the show, due to the tension.

The MailOnline now reports the duo will be spending some time apart.

It's reported that they will be stepping down from hosting for a break in just over a week’s time.

Another popular duo are also about to take a break, after Ant and Dec reportedly said they need time to catch their breath.

Channel 4 has also parted ways with another presenting duo.
