Margot Robbie got WWE superstar John Cena a cameo in Barbie and 'loved' his scene-stealing cameo

The new Barbie film is a star-studded affair, with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling joined by many celebs.

It turns out that they had one cameo in particular that they loved.

Speaking to FM104, the stars praised John Cena for his scene-stealing Barbie cameo.

They were asked who their favourite cameo was and Ryan replied: "Oh my god, everyone."

Margot added: "The John Cena cameo is pretty... pretty impactful. I loved that"

She continued: "That was by chance, because we shot here in London, and we were out at dinner."

Margot recalled: "I ran into him at a restaurant because we've worked together before and I was like, 'What are you doing here?' and he's like, I'm shooting at Leavesden [studios] at the moment' and I was like, 'We're shooting at Leavesden!' so I asked if he wanted to come and be in Barbie."

"He said yeah, because he's just that kind of guy to say 'sure', and he did it. I couldn't believe it.

Ryan joked: "She's a bit like Danny Ocean [from Oceans 11] she was just putting together this Barbie team!".

Margot added: "I'm so excited we're finally showing everyone... I feel like we're giving a gift. You'll see this and you'll be happy."

She added that Ryan gave her a gift of pink nunchucks, a six pack of beers and a t-shirt too.
