Katy Perry to voice Peppa Pig character for 20th anniversary: here's who she's playing

Can you believe Peppa Pig is 20 years old? The infamous hog is celebrating her coming of age and getting a new Hollywood friend in the form of Katy Perry.

The Firework singer is teaming up with Peppa and co. and joining as a guest star to voice a new character - dressmaker Ms. Leopard - to mark the 20th anniversary of the animated series.

Perry’s dulcet tones will feature in an upcoming three-part extravaganza, Peppa Pig Wedding Party Special, set to land in spring 2024. Ms. Leopard will assist with the preparations for the first-ever Peppa Pig wedding between Mr. Bull and Mrs. Cow.

The series, created by Neville Astley and Mark Baker, came to life in May 2004 and airs on Nickeldeon and Paramount+ in the States.

It won't be the first time Perry has lent her voice to cartoons. She previously starred in The Simpsons as Moe’s girlfriend and as Smurfette in The Smurfs movie.
