Gogglebox star is confirmed for Dancing On Ice 2024

Another contestant has been confirmed for the new series of Dancing On Ice, and he's a fan favourite for viewers of Gogglebox.

The next person to be donning ice skates is small-screen star Stephen Lustig-Webb.

Fans were very sad when it was recently revealed that Stephen was stepping away from the TV show, but now they can get their fix of him elsewhere.

Stephen is the seventh celebrity to be confirmed for the reality competition. He joins the likes of boxer Ricky Hatton MBE, actress Claire Sweeney, actress and singer Hannah Spearritt, West End star Amber Davies and Olympic Champion and presenter Greg Rutherford MBE and TV personality Miles Nazaire.  

He confirmed the news while speaking on Lorraine earlier today.

“The last time I was on the ice I think I was 14 (years old) so almost 40 years ago. I have been back on the ice since just for a quick spin around, I didn't fall over so that was a good thing! I’ve got a new appreciation for skating.  I can see how truly difficult it is.  From the comfort of my sofa I was probably a little too judgy, I didn’t realise how hard it is!"

Fans are thrilled at his addition.

"Hope his dances appear on Gogglebox so he still on the show but the other side of it …" said one.

"What did I tell ya. Whenever someone quits gogglebox they always appear on another show within a few months," added another.

"Love him! Love his energy" wrote one fan on Instagram.

How will Stephen do?

Fans will have to wait and see.
