Daniel Radcliffe finally answers Deadpool 3 secret role rumours, after fans speculated an appearance in the Marvel franchise due to the actors newfound physique.

In case you missed it, Daniel Radcliffe has been hitting the gym and showing off his newfound muscles.

This led fans to believe that he might be suiting up as Wolverine in Deadpool 3.

However, Radcliffe has finally addressed these rumours with a good dose of humour.

The actor, best known for his role as the beloved Harry Potter, was rumoured to be taking on a new superhero persona. The speculation was that he would become a variant of Hugh Jackman's iconic Wolverine character.

Deadpool 3, the highly anticipated film set to bring the X-Men back into the fold, has had fans eagerly speculating on who would join the cast.

Taylor Swift was also rumoured to take on the role of Dazzler, adding to the excitement.

Daniel Radcliffe, now a new dad, found these rumours amusing.

He laughed when his Broadway co-star, Lindsay Mendez, asked if he was the one who started the Wolverine rumour, to which he replied with a simple 'No.'

In a lie detector test conducted with Mendez and Jonathon Groff for Vanity Fair, Radcliffe admitted that he 'got buff' for no particular reason.

He humorously explained: "I got buff because I am obsessive, and I want to. You've seen my parents, they're like insane fitness people. So that's just been passed on."

"Flattered, but no!" He added.

The rumours began when Radcliffe appeared in a season 4 finale of the comedy series Miracle Workers, revealing his impressively shredded physique.

Fans couldn't help but draw comparisons to the popular comic book character Wolverine.

Since his days as the young wizard in Harry Potter, Radcliffe has been taking on unconventional and surprising roles, making a superhero gig seem within the realm of possibility.

However, the rumour was put to rest when representatives for Radcliffe confirmed that it was 'not true.'

This year, the actor's focus has shifted to a much more significant role – that of a father. He and his partner, Erin Darke, welcomed their first child together in April.

Radcliffe has opened up about the intimidating and, at times, terrifying experience of becoming a parent.

While Radcliffe may not be transforming into Wolverine on the big screen, his witty response to these rumours and his dedication to fitness have certainly kept fans entertained.
