The I'm A Celebrity line-up has changed after Corrie star Alan Halsall has undergone surgery.

In an exclusive report by The Sun, it has been revealed that Tyrone actor Alan has undergone ACL surgery and will have a long recovery time.

He was one of the rumoured names for the next series of the show.

It is still said to be one of the strongest line-ups that I'm A Celebrity has seen in years, despite Alan being forced to drop out.

Names on the list include former UKIP leader Nigel Farage, This Morning and Big Brother star Josie Gibson and sportsman Danny Cipriani.

Susanna Reid has been winding up fans with suggestions that she'll be in the camp.

Fans will be heartbroken that Alan won't be taking part in the show.

A source said earlier in the year: “Tyrone is one of Corrie’s most-loved characters so Alan comes with a ready-made fan base.

“Sometimes soap actors who are known for their iconic roles don’t quite translate once in camp - Adam Woodyatt being one recent example.

“But Alan is a top lad with bags of personality so ITV are over the moon he’s in talks to join their 2023 cast.”

Alan updated fans about his ACL reconstruction surgery, when the torn ligament is replaced with a tissue graft.

Alan wrote: "ACL Reconstruction surgery. Well, On Friday I underwent ACL reconstruction surgery.I have been told the surgery went really well."

"I know I have a long 9-12 months of rehabilitation ahead of me but I’m sure with the support of family & friends I’ll get there," he continued.

"Thank you to the amazing! Staff at Oaklands and also thanks to my very own nurse."

The I'm A Celebrity start date was revealed earlier this week - it will start on November 19th.
