With only three days left of the 2023 series, the fifth star was sent packing from the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! jungle last night (Thursday 8th December).
Fans had already said goodbye to jockey Frankie Dettori, YouTube star Nella Rose, Fred Sirieix from First Dates and Hollyoaks stalwart Nick Pickard.
On the latest episode, hosts Ant and Dec revealed that the bottom two consisted of boxer Tony Bellew and EastEnders actress Danielle Harold.
Unfortunately for Lola Pearce actress Danielle, she was the one who received the fewest votes, and therefore had to traverse the famous rope bridge.
After getting across to the safety of the other side, the Albert Square alum told Ant and Dec that she was grateful for the experience, and like some of her fellow eliminated campmates, she named Sam Thompson as her pick for King of the Jungle.
Speaking in her first video posted to the official I’m A Celeb X account, the actress said: “The reason I picked Sam to be King of the Jungle is he is just my brother for life, the most amazing guy, my best mate in there and we just had the absolute best time. We did not stop laughing the whole way.”
Danielle’s exit from the camp means that the final five this year are Bellew, Thompson, Nigel Farage, Josie Gibson and Marvin Humes.
The grande finale of I’m A Celeb 2023 is now just three days away, with the winner of the long-running competition being announced on Sunday (10th December).
Meanwhile, after leaving the series on Monday (4th December), Nella Rose broke her silence after becoming one of the most divisive campmates of the series.
The Tapped Out star had clashed with Sirieix and former MEP Farage, and while on This Morning on Wednesday, Nella commented on both events, and shared that she accepts she’s a bit of a “marmite” character.
“I haven’t watched anything back yet, but I know everything that’s gone on,” she revealed. “Honestly, it was a big misunderstanding,” she said of her spat with Fred, in which she criticised him for saying he was old enough to be her father, who she later revealed had passed away.
“We’ve gone over it, me and Fred are cool, but I understand it’s TV and everything in the jungle is intensified,” the Catfish UK host continued. “That subject was very triggering for me because it’s obviously like a fresh wound. But it is what it is.”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here continues daily on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm. This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1 & ITVX.
