Socks for Christmas usually leads to a grumble or two, but Taskmaster are giving away a whopping 44 pairs of socks as worn by the hosts.

It's all to raise money for charity, and you could be the proud owner of some (hopefully not very) stinky socks, which they assure fans have been washed.

The duo posted a video on social media with Greg asking Alex if he's got rid of the socks yet.

"I've foind 44 pairs... I think people will buy them" said Alex. Greg suggested giving it to charity, while Alex joked he thought about keeping the money for themselves.

Greg interjected with jest that giving the money for for charity would be better for a publicity stunt.

Alex agreed, while Greg suggested some charities who could benefit from the funds raised.

One is LOROS, a hospice in Leicester, and he also suggested Age Concern, while Alex suggested Slough Homeless: Our Concern to be a beneficiary.

"Let's give all the money to those three charities, we'll look great!" joked Greg.

You've got to be quick though, as there's a "narrow window" to enter to be in with a chance.

The tickets are £5 each, with the duo joking that if you're a "really rich person" you could buy multiple.

The raffle opened today (December 8th) at 1pm, and it is open until Midnight on Sunday.

You have this weekend to purchase a raffle ticket.

If you want to enter to win the socks, head here to buy a ticket.

The socks feature various patterns and will be chosen at random, and will come with a card telling you which episode they featured on.

Talk about a present with a difference, and for a great cause.

"Oooh, if I win a pair of Greg's Socks, I could use them as sleeping bags and if I win a pair of Alex's, they should fit my cats!" joked one fan.
