If you really, really want to spice up your life with some Spice Girls stamps, then you’re in for a treat.

Royal Mail is releasing a set of 15 stamps which will mark three decades of the massively successful pop group, who formed in 1994.

Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Melanie C, Victoria Beckham and Mel B - known by their nicknames of Baby Spice, Ginger Spice, Sporty Spice, Posh Spice and Scary Spice - reached worldwide success with banging tunes such as Wannabe, 2 Become 1, Who Do You Think You Are?, Stop and Spice Up Your Life.

They sold over 100 million records before taking a break in 2000 and then returning in 2007 for a worldwide tour and then performing at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics in 2012. In 2019, they toured the UK, minus Victoria.

Now, their 30th anniversary will be marked in stamp form, with designs featuring moments from live performances between 1997 and 2012. These include the Geri’s iconic Union Jack dress at the Brits, their Olympic performance and their gig at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Five more stamps -  in a miniature sheet - are taken from the photoshoot from their movie, Spice World.

The stamps go on general sale on 11th January.

Mel C recently joined Ricky Wilson on Virgin Radio UK's drive time show to talk about her time in the band. During a chat about number ones, she said that it was “bothersome” that “Stop was the only Spice Girls song when we were on a roll, that didn't go to number one."

Saying that "It went in at number two,” she explained that it was beaten to top spot by Run DMC versus Jason Nevins, “which to be fair is a tune," she admitted.

Other bands that have been immortalised in stamp form are The Beatles in 2007, Pink Floyd in 2016, Queen in 2020, The Rolling Stones in 2022 and Iron Maiden in 2023.
