The Traitors’ finalist Evie Morrison has revealed the moment that left her fuming before Friday’s (26th January) grande finale.
While part of the final five contestants to make it to the very end, Evie was unfortunately the first to be banished, with Traitors Andrew and Harry, alongside Faithfuls Mollie and Jaz deciding to vote out the Scottish veterinary nurse.
Evie knew her time on the show was limited after getting into a row with fellow Faithful Jasmine after Harry’s deceptive use of a shield, and speaking exclusively to virignradio.co.uk, the telly star confessed how learning of an all-male Traitor line-up caused major frustration while reliving the experience on TV.
Speaking about the pivotal roundtable that sealed her fate, Evie explained: “Like every day that a faithful was banished is regrettable, like of course it is, you want to get a Traitor. When it's any faithful you just feel so upset because it's just one member of your team that's gone.
“I think Jasmine was particularly hard whilst Traitor men sat back and watched us and that infuriated me when I watched it. I really did watch that episode as a viewer and I almost forgot that I was in it. I was really really frustrated.
Evie admitted she felt “regretful” and “guilty” watching her time on the show back in that moment, and shared she felt “blind-sided” by winner Harry due his “good boy” nature.
“He was really genuine,” she continued. “He was really humble as well. He talked a lot about his emotions, he talked a lot about his family and he was really relatable. It's so funny watching a version of him that is so devious, because it's just not who we’ve seen in the missions or in the castle as well.
“I think we were kind of fooled by this sort of character that Harry does as well. This is a man that was requesting chicken goujons and crisp sandwiches for lunch. He was also the mastermind of everything.”
Speaking of Harry, he earned an impressive £95,150 by deceiving all the Faithfuls, leaving friend Mollie distraught.
Admitting he played the game for his family, he revealed to virginradio.co.uk and other press that his relationship to Mollie was still very important to him, despite the deception.
He said: "I feel like someone like Mollie, I just want her to like me for me,".
Speaking of the importance of their bond and what drew the pair together, Harry said: "I think me and Mollie got on so well, because obviously, you spend so much time together. And when you're when there's that few people, obviously, you're with the sort of same person who has the same interests. And like me and her are both young.
"Now we sort of supported each other since this whole thing began. It's like we've always been there for each other, you know if she needs someone to chat to, it's always been the same on the other hand."
