The housemates in danger of leaving Celebrity Big Brother in the next live double eviction have been announced. And, as we’ve come to expect from the newly rebooted series, there was a twist in the process.

We already knew the identity of one of the nominees, with Strictly Come Dancing star Nikita Kuzminas putting himself up for eviction in a "killer nomination" twist which aired on Sunday night (17th March).

Following this, in Monday’s episode, as the housemates celebrated St. Patrick's Day, TV presenter Fern Britton went to the diary room, where she discovered a pot of gold with a red toy snake.

She was told that she’d found a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. “That means you’ve been granted one wish, the biggest wish of all,” Big Brother said. “You must choose one housemate to be evicted. St Patrick famously banished the snakes from Ireland, and now by finding the pot of gold, you have been selected to banish a housemate."

In order to make her selection, Fern had to place the snake on a fellow housemate’s pillow, and she decided to opt for former X Factor host Louis Walsh.

However… and here comes the twist… it turns out that she had inadvertently given Louis a free pass through the next nominations and that Louis would not be allowed to be put up for eviction by the housemates.

The actual nominations then followed, with Fern, YouTube star Zeze Millz and actor and singer Marisha Wallace getting the most votes from their fellow housemates.

Fern received nominations from David, Colson, Nikita, and Marisha, and Marisha also got four – from David, Fern, Colson and Bradley. Zeze picked up three nominations – from Louis, Nikita, and Bradley.

The three of them joined Nikita as the four celebrities who are up for the live double eviction tonight (19th March).

Celebrity Big Brother airs Sundays through Fridays at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX, followed by Late & Live on ITV2 immediately following each episode.
