Ncuti Gatwa’s Fifteenth Doctor will soon be landing the TARDIS back on TV screens in the UK and across the world.

Joined by his new companion Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson), the famous time traveller’s latest series (the revived show’s fourteenth) will begin airing this May, and the BBC have recently been showering fans with new trailers and teaser details ahead of the 'Season One' premiere.

Most recently, a second full-length trailer was released along with the titles for all eight of series 14’s episodes.

So without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about Doctor Who series 14 ahead of its fast-approaching release.

When will Doctor Who series 14 air?

Doctor Who series 14 will begin airing on Saturday, 11th May 2024. Episodes one and two of the show will be released at midnight on BBC iPlayer. Both will later be aired on BBC One prior to the Eurovision Song Contest.

How can I watch Doctor Who series 14?

Doctor Who series 14 will be available to watch on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK.

Around the rest of the world, viewers can tune into Doctor Who via Disney+. At the same time episodes of the new show drop on BBC iPlayer in the UK, they will also drop on Disney+ - no time travel required!

How many episodes will Doctor Who series 14 have?

Doctor Who series 14 will consist of eight episodes. The series was preceded by Ncuti Gatwa’s first full length appearance as the Doctor in 2023’s Christmas Special, The Church on Ruby Road, plus last year’s three 60th anniversary specials which starred David Tennant and Catherine Tate.

Who will star in Doctor Who series 14?

Alongside Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson in Doctor Who’s lead roles, stars including RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Jinkx Monsoon, Broadway star Jonathan Groff, Bridgerton’s Golda Rosheuvel, Indira Varma, and Lenny Rush will have starring roles in series 14.

60th anniversary stars Ruth Madley, Yasmin Finney, Jemma Redgrave, Anita Dobson and Michelle Greenidge will all also be making a return - with fans particularly excited to find out more about Dobson’s mysterious fourth-wall breaking Mrs Flood.

Doctor Who will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on 11th May.
