If you find yourself thinking that the homes on Sort Your Life Out actually look pretty tidy, then it’s probably time to get the experts in. And the good news is that the hit BBC show is looking for applicants for series five.

The show sees host Stacey Solomon and her expert team visit the homes of people who seriously need some help with decluttering, spring cleaning and reorganising. They completely empty out every single item, and then the purging commences, while the team set about putting the joy back in the property. It’s heartwarming stuff which often leads to some very emotional moments

With series four having just finished, one of the stars of the show has taken to social media to appeal for people to get involved in future episodes.

Professional organiser Dilly Carter shared a photo of herself and the rest of the Sort Your Life Out team on Instagram and wrote: “We are always so honoured to help these families fall back in love with their home and this series has shown you six incredibly deserving families for all different reasons.

“Thank you all of you for supporting the show week in week out, through all four series we are beyond grateful.”

She added: “Wish us luck as we begin filming a new series, but in order for us to do more, we need YOU so don’t forget to apply.” She helpfully shared the link to the application page in her Instagram bio.

If you’re looking around your home and thinking that you need to apply, then you need to be over 18 and have to fill in the application form by 21st April 2024. You can find out more and apply here.

The application page says: “Whether you have a new baby on the way, want to run a business from home, find it hard to let go of sentimental items or just want to create calm in the chaos, we’d love to hear from you.”

Watch series 1-4 of Sort Your Life Out on BBC iPlayer. Apply to be on the show here.
