In a surprise performance, Simon Cowell faces an unexpected tribute on Britain's Got Talent.

Simon Cowell, the long-standing judge on Britain's Got Talent, found himself in an amusingly awkward situation on the latest episode of the show. In a hilarious twist, a choir of Simon lookalikes stormed the stage, leaving the music mogul red-faced as they belted out Tina Turner's hit Simply The Best.

In scenes set to air on tonight's (4th May) show, the audience, judges, and even Simon himself couldn't contain their laughter as the Simon clones made their entrance.

Dressed in Cowell's signature white shirt and high-waisted black trousers combo, the lead performer began the rendition, capturing Simon's iconic style perfectly.

As the chorus hit, more and more Simon impersonators joined the performance, much to the delight of the audience and judges alike.

Judge Amanda Holden, unable to contain her laughter, giggled uncontrollably throughout the act, while Simon himself watched in a mixture of flattery and embarrassment.

Covering his face with his hands, Simon sighed: "Oh my God," as the spectacle unfolded before him. Presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly joined in on the fun, high-fiving each Simon clone as they made their way across the stage.

Adding to the hilarity of the moment, Ant remarked: "It's like a nightmare I had once!" while the Simon impersonators sported black aviators reminiscent of Cowell's signature look.

However, in a humorous twist, Simon himself wore red-tinted glasses, which he later explained were for health reasons.

In a post shared with fans in February, Simon addressed concerns about his health, revealing that he wears the glasses to combat migraines triggered by the bright filming lights.

Despite the unexpected tribute, Simon took the performance in stride, maintaining his trademark sense of humour throughout the ordeal.

Known for his uniformed wardrobe of shades, a white shirt, jeans, and black shoes, Simon has been experimenting with his fashion choices in the current series, opting for more tight-fitting T-shirts to show off his physique.

While the Simon clones may have provided a moment of embarrassment for the music mogul, their tribute undoubtedly brought a smile to the faces of viewers everywhere.

As Simon himself often says: "It's all about entertainment," and this unexpected performance certainly delivered on that front.

Britain’s Got Talent continues tonight (4th May) at 19:30 on ITV1 and ITVX.
