Fans of Home Alone have long marvelled at the size of the now-famous home of the McCallisters, and the iconic house is now up for sale.

If you have a spare couple of million lying around in a bank account, the infamous real estate could be all yours.

That's right, the home is on the market for a whopping $5.25 million (£4.13 million).

The impressive property is found in Winnetka, Illinois.

It was built in 1921, and according to the property listing it has five bedrooms and six bathrooms.

If that wasn't enough, it was fully renovated and expanded back in 2018, but the sellers were careful to preserve the original style of the property made famous by the film.

It sits on a half-acre plot of land, and also features an indoor basketball court, a movie theatre, and a poker room.

Not only that but the current owners have a statue of the iconic scream face pulled by star Macaulay Culkin, made entirely out of Lego.

It was last sold in 2012 for $1.58 million (£1.24 million), so has gone up quite a lot.

It was open to rent for one day only back in 2021 as part of a competition run by Disney+, hosted by Buzz McCallister and booby trapped just like the film.

Even if you did have the money for it, would you be able to handle the numbers of curious tourists who come to take photos of your house?

Fans were horrified last year when somebody calculated just how much Kevin's supermarket shop from the film would set him back now.

In one of the film's iconic scenes, Kevin goes to the supermarket to buy supplies and it cost him just under $20 with a coupon.

Needless to say, in 2024 it set him back considerably more.
