Virgin Radio Pride is officially back, and we’ve got some incredible guests and brilliant discussions lined up to see you through the summer.

Our very first weekend and week back on the airwaves will feature an incredible line-up of broadcasters, comedians and DJs from around the country - with Heartstopper and Celebrity Big Brother star Bradley Riches will be onboard to host a weekly Saturday lunchtime show,

Saturday afternoons will have king of showbiz Crossy on from 2pm, playing the biggest tunes and chatting to some of the biggest names, with Dua Lipa helping to kick off 2024 in style. Not only that, but Crossy will also be speaking to Will Smith and Martin Lawrence ahead of the release of Bad Boys: Ride or Die and the cast of Star Wars series Acoloyte.

When Sunday rolls around, comedian Suzi Ruffell will host every Sunday morning, with this weekend’s guest spot featuring fellow stand-up star Joe Lycett.

Graeme Smith and the team from multi-award-winning podcast OUTCAST UK will take over Sunday late nights again with a mix of late night chat, news, and interviews.

There’s no such thing as Monday blues when Virgin Radio Pride is on air as we’ll be bringing you a brilliant roster of hosts, guests and bangers throughout the week too.

Monday (3rd June) at 6pm will see the return of My Pride Playlist with Steve Denyer. This week, Eddie Izzard returns to chat about her favourite tracks and the songs that inspired her life as an activist, actor and comedian.

On Tuesday (4th June) at 6pm, Emma Goswell is here with the best in new and established LGBTQ+ literature in a new segment called Queer Book Club.

Emma will be joined this week by childrens’ author, Olly Pike, from Pop ‘n’ Olly, plus the team at Queer Lit in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, who will bring their picks of the best reads that week.

The fourth year of Virgin Radio Pride also sees the return of The Big Conversation, airing throughout the week, and this time we’re talking about how we can keep LGBTQ+ youth safe online.

On Wednesday night (5th June) from 6pm, Channel 4 reality star and trans icon, Jaxon Feely - alongside his close friend Esther Ghey - will discuss that very topic. Esther is the mother of trans teenager Brianna Ghey, who was murdered in a case that shook the foundations of the LGBTQ+ community and wider society.

Get your pride party on with Friday night bangers from RuPaul’s Drag Race star Baga Chipz and superstar LGBTQ+ DJ Jodie Harsh going in the mix, alongside tunes from the nation’s biggest and best queer club nights including Homoelectric and Glitterbomb.

Other new talent coming on board this year include Vauxhall DJ regular Nick Charles from The Loud Brown Gays podcast, and London-based XOYO DJ and producer Alfie Butler.

Virgin Radio Pride UK will be broadcast from 1st June to 31st August 2024. Ask your smart speaker to “play Virgin Radio Pride". Get us online, on virginradiopride.co.uk, on the free Virgin Radio app or on DAB Digital radio in Greater London and Scotland.
