Pixar's Inside Out 2 is making a massive splash at the box office as it continues the story of a young girl named Riley through the emotions that live inside her. But who are the voice actors in the hit sequel?

The first film featured five different emotions, namely Joy, Anger, Sadness, Fear and Disgust, who used a console in Riley’s ‘Headquarters’ to project these feelings, as she dealt with her family upping sticks and moving from Minnesota to San Francisco.

Now, Inside Out 2 adds four new emotions: Anxiety, Envy, Embarrassment and Ennui, as Riley becomes a teenager.

Here’s who voices who in Inside Out 2…

Joy - Amy Poehler

Having played the lead role in the first film, Parks & Recreation star Amy Poehler is back to reprise her role in the sequel.

She has also starred in the likes of Saturday Night Live and Arrested Development.

Anxiety - Maya Hawke

New character Anxiety - who brings all manner of chaos to Riley’s life - is played by Maya Hawke from Stranger Things.

The actor, who is the daughter of Hollywood stars Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, plays Robin Buckley in the hit Netflix series.

She has also appeared in Once Upon a Time... In Hollywood, Asteroid City and Maestro.

Ennui - Adèle Exarchopoulos

Ennui - which is essentially a feeling of being bored and mentally tired due to having nothing interesting or exciting to do (yes, a very teenage emotion) - is played by Adèle Exarchopoulos.

Adèle is best known for her role in Blue is the Warmest Colour.

Envy - Ayo Edebiri

The Bear star Ayo Edebiri voices Envy in the new film.

As well as being a star of the always-stressful restaurant-based series, the actor has also featured in hit movies such as Theatre Camp and Bottoms.

A clip of Ayo recording her voice parts for the Pixar movie recently went viral. Watch it here:

Sadness - Phyllis Smith

You’ll know Phyllis for playing Phyllis Vance in the massively popular television series The Office (the US version).

She reprises her role of Sadness in the new film, having been critically-acclaimed for her turn in the first film.

Disgust - Liza Lapira

The role of disgust was originally voiced by The US Office’s Mindy Kaling, but this time round it is The Equaliser star Liza Lapira who performs the vocals.

She has also starred in the likes of Cloverfield and Fast & Furious,

Fear - Tony Hale

Another change for the sequel is that Veep’s Tony Hale takes over from Bill Hader, who originally voiced the character in the first film.

Hale is perhaps best known for playing Buster Bluth in Arrested Development.

Anger - Lewis Black

Stand-up comedian Lewis Black is back as Anger.

His other voice roles include work in SpongeBob SquarePants, Scooby-Doo! and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Embarrassment - Paul Walter Hauser

He doesn’t say much, but Embarrassment is played by Cruella and I, Tonya star Paul Walter Hauser.

Other voice actors in the new movie include Kensington Tallman as Riley Andersen, Ron Funches as Bloofy, James Austin Johnson as Pouchy, Yong Yea as Lance Slashblade.

Also in the film are Lilimar as Valentina Ortiz, Grace Lu as Grace, Sumayyah Nuriddin-Green as Bree, Diane Lane as Riley's mother, Kyle MacLachlan as Mr. Andersen, and Yvette Nicole Brown as Coach Roberts.

Inside Out 2 is in cinemas now.
