Gladiators ready? Contestants ready? Congregation ready? Gladiators star Ace — aka Warren Furman — is a changed man. The former bodybuilder, TV star and ex-fiancé of Katie Price has become a vicar.

The dad-of-two, who was ordained alongside his wife Dionne at St Paul’s Cathedral in London, is set to lead a different kind of gig at a church in South Kensington.

The 90s star, who has a gladiator helmet on his stole, told The Sun about his famous ex Katie Price: “I crave that she would know God as I do and realise her identity doesn’t have to be in altering her body or having operations. God loves who she is.”

Gladiators Ace star Warren Furman is now a vicar

Speaking about his ordination, he said: “I was absolutely blown away with everything that happened.

"I couldn’t believe I was standing there next to my wife. It was a magical day for the pair of us.

“While I was in the TV show, I always put my faith in myself. Now I put my faith in God.

"I’ve gone from TV’s Gladiator to God’s gladiator, while Dionne has gone from flying high as a cabin crew manager with Virgin Atlantic to reaching for the sky in the name of Jesus.”

Last year, Diane Youdale — aka Jet — married her partner Zoe in a small wedding ceremony with just six people.

The legendary Gladiators star revealed that she was the one who popped the question to superfan Zoe soon after their chance meeting in a car park.

The former TV star proposed in the kitchen four months after being 'stalked' by fan Zoe outside a supermarket.

The Jet star said: "I've never felt tied to any one sexual identity. I've always been very relaxed about my sexuality whether I was aware of it or not."
