Pop Idol sensation and all-around entertainer Will Young leaves The One Show in stitches as he teases his villainous role and lets slip a cheeky spoiler!
Chaos and laughter reigned supreme on Monday night's The One Show when none other than Pop Idol legend Will Young graced the sofa.
The returning singer, famous for his soulful voice and charming presence, was there to chat about his latest album, Light It Up, his new single, and upcoming tour.
But things took a hilarious twist when the conversation shifted to his upcoming appearance in ITV's drama, McDonald and Dodds.

With his signature cheeky grin, Will exclaimed: "Yes, I'm playing a baddie!"
But the real fun began when he hinted at more TV appearances next year, coyly stating: "I might have a job next year, yes, I'm not allowed to talk about." Cue the suspenseful music!
As the chat continued, Will couldn’t contain his excitement about his role on McDonald and Dodds.
He teased: "It's really fun playing a baddie, it's great. I'm not going to spoil it if I'm the murderer or not… but I very well could be," before bursting into uncontrollable laughter.
The spoiler slip left his co-guests, Paapa Essiedu and Sharon Duncan-Brewster, in stitches, turning the show into a giggle-fest.
The One Show, known for its blend of light-hearted and serious segments, was momentarily transformed into a scene straight out of a sitcom.
Will’s infectious laughter and the playful atmosphere had everyone, including the viewers at home, chuckling along.
Social media was abuzz with fans reacting to Will's delightful mishap, with many praising the singer for his candid and fun-loving nature.
This memorable moment on The One Show comes hot on the heels of another hilariously chaotic interview featuring none other than EastEnders star Danny Dyer and his co-star Ryan Sampson.
The duo was there to promote their new sitcom, Mr Bigstuff, which sees them playing estranged brothers.
During the interview, a photo of a giant rug with Danny’s face on it popped up on the screen, leading to a side-splitting discussion about 'rug tufting.'
Ryan explained: "I'd been getting a lot of these rug tufting videos on my socials," prompting host Roman Kemp to quip: "Sorry, rug tufting?"
Danny, never one to miss a comedic beat, joked about algorithms and the strange things they show you, while host Anita Rani had to step in to keep things family-friendly, reminding them: "Hang on, remember it is 7pm on BBC One!"
The back-and-forth was pure comedy gold, with Danny assuring everyone: "It's all above board, don't worry!" and Ryan chiming in: "It's all above board!"
The viewers couldn’t get enough, flooding Twitter (or should we say, X) with reactions.
One fan tweeted" "Anita has just had to remind both Ryan & Danny of the time and day #TheOneShow," accompanied by a laughing emoji, while another enthusiastically wrote, "This new @MrDDyer @sky comedy looks absolutely fabulous!"
The One Show continues on weekdays at 7pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
