Zachary Pym Williams, the son of the late actor Robin Williams, has taken to social media to pay tribute to his father on what would have been his 73rd birthday.
The Mrs Doubtfire and Good Will Hunting actor sadly died by suicide at the age of 63 in 2014.
Sharing a black and white photo of his dad on Instagram to mark the late actor and comedy star’s birthday on July 21st, Zachary expressed how “grateful” and “proud” he was to be his son.

The mental health advocate wrote: “Dad, on what would be your 73rd birthday, I remember you for all the hope and joy you brought to the world.”
He continued: “There's not a week that goes by without someone sharing with me how you helped them through a dark time or a rough patch. I'm so grateful and proud to be your son. Love you forever.”
Last month, he also posted to remember his dad on Father’s Day. He wrote: “On this tenth Father's Day without you, I'm remembering your incredible thoughtfulness and compassion for others. Thank you for showing me what it truly means to be unconditionally loving and kind. I miss you and love you today and every day.”
When award-winning actor, director, comedian and producer Rebel Wilson visited Virgin Radio in May, she told Chris Evans about her 'beautiful experience' with Williams.
Joining the Chris Evans Breakfast Show with webuyanycar, the Aussie remembered a sweet encounter with the late stars while working on 2014 film Night at the Museum 3: Secret of the Tomb, Rebel told Chris. “He was watching me do a scene with Ben Stiller, improvising, and he's like, ‘You could do drama, as well as comedy.’ And I was like, ‘Oh my God,’ coming from him, the legend. And then we just chatted about life. It felt like about two hours.
“And it's in the middle of the night because we do night shifts, because I guess the movie is called Night at the Museum! It's freezing cold, and we've got blankets around us. And I'm looking at his face, he's like the kindest, most gorgeous man and he's giving me some compliments. It was such a beautiful, beautiful experience that I got to have that interaction with him that night.”
She said: “I'm getting emotional thinking about it, but just the warmth that would come off that guy was incredible."
Meanwhile, one of Williams’ Mrs Doubtfire co-stars recently spoke about how the comedy icon tried to help prevent her from getting kicked out of school. Read about it here.
