Viewers have reacted to Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle fronting This Morning and their electric chemistry and fans have called for the hosts to become permanent faces on the couch.

The bubbly pair tickled fans during an 80s-inspired segment on Friday's show rocking the retro look and dancing frantically to classic pop songs.

Josie told the audience: "Hello, what a mover. Oh, here he goes Beyoncé over here. Hello and a big welcome to your Friday's This Morning."

Craig added: "There is a reason for this. We are paying homage to the 80s today and we just can't get enough."

Josie continued: "You are giving me Freddie Mercury vibes. I love Freddie Mercury."

Exhausted by all the commotion, Josie said: "That is embarrassing, isn't it. Child of the 80s...out of breath dancing. I feel like I am in a music video."

The stand-in presenters, who are among the famous faces filling in for Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard over the summer, struck a chord with fans.

The revolving guest presenters include Alison Hammond, Dermot O'Leary, Rochelle Humes and Joel Dommett.

Fans commented on X: "Craig & Josie will be hosting This Morning next week, they should be the next permanent hosts."
