This Morning host, I’m A Celeb star and Spice Girl among names joining THIS new ITV show

Stars of This Morning, I’m A Celebrity and a Spice Girl are just some of the big names joining a brand new ITV game show.

Called Parents’ Evening, the show – hosted by Romesh Ranganathan – will see celebrities compete in teams alongside their own parents or children, all to raise money for charities of their choice.

This Morning star Alison Hammond will be taking part with her son Aidan, last year’s I’m A Celebrity star Tony Bellow will be appearing with his son Corey, and Spice Girl Mel B will be on the show with her daughter Phoenix.

Other family teams revealed include comedian Iain Stirling and his mum Alison, Jonathan Ross and his daughter Honey, Carol Vorderman and her son Cameron, and Richard and Chloe Madeley.

Romesh’s own mother Shanthi will also be around to keep an eye on the show’s scores – and her son of course!

Spice Girl Mel B’s appearance on the show comes after rumours of the band planning a celebratory 30th anniversary reunion were somewhat quashed this month when the Daily Mail reported a feud has brought an end to what was planned.

According to the MailOnline, Geri Horner, also known as Ginger Spice, has “pulled the plug” on the highly-anticipated reunion due to a rift between her and Mel B. 

The Wannabe legends were reportedly in discussion for another run of tour dates and had even spoken to Posh Spice star Victoria Beckham about a potential appearance, but now showbiz insiders say things between Mel B, or Scary Spice, and Geri have grown increasingly frosty.

“Geri has had enough to deal with after all the drama with her husband's relationship with his assistant - it has been a tough enough time – and she's just lost patience with Mel and her little digs and jibes,” a source told the publication.

“She's walked away and without Geri it's really not going to happen – in the past she's been a driving force in the group, but she doesn't want to deal with Mel at all at the moment let alone share a stage with her.”

Parents Evening will air on ITV1 and ITVX in the future.
