Are all tickets to see Oasis sold out?

Yes and no.

Tickets sold out on the same day that they went on general sale, Saturday 31st August 2024.

However, two more dates have since been added. These have yet to go on sale.

The Wembley gigs will take place on Friday 27th September and Saturday 28th September 2025. Taking to X to announce them, Oasis wrote: “Two extra Wembley Stadium shows have been added due to phenomenal demand. Tickets will be sold by a staggered, invitation-only ballot process."

It was then explained in a statement: “If you signed into your Ticketmaster UK account on Saturday, 31st August, and were able to join a queue for a specific show but didn’t get a ticket – then you may be eligible to take part and will receive an email on how to register for the ballot.”

After registering, fans will be entered into a ballot for a code. Successful applicants will receive that code and gain access to the ticket sale for the final two Wembley shows. However, be warnind that registering doesn't mean you will get a code.

Will even more dates be announced?

Quite simply, who knows?

However, a rumoured Glastonbury appearance has been ruled out by the band.

If you live outside of Europe, then stay tuned, because the statement upon announcement of the original UK gigs said: “Plans are underway for OASIS LIVE ’25 to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year.”

Why are fans so upset with the Oasis ticket sale?

Many people found themselves in multi-hour online queues and, if they did get through to the ticket page, some were then confronted by “dynamic pricing”, whereby tickets increased hugely in cost because of demand. Some prices more than doubled, before all gigs were sold-out by 7pm.

With fans furious, Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy said: “After the incredible news of Oasis' return, it's depressing to see vastly inflated prices excluding ordinary fans from having a chance of enjoying their favourite band live.”

She said the Government will look into “issues around the transparency and use of dynamic pricing.”

Is there a ticket resale site?

Oasis have teamed-up with resale platform Twickets to enable fans to buy unwanted tickets for no more than face value.

The band posted on X: "Please be aware of counterfeit and void tickets appearing on the secondary market. Tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via @TicketmasterUK and @Twickets"

The social media post came after tickets appeared on other resale sites for astronomical amounts of money.

What is Twickets?

Twickets is a ticket resale company based in the UK.

The UK's largest fan-to-fan ticket resale site bills itself as a "more ethical ticketing company". It only permits tickets to be resold at or below the designated face value plus booking and delivery fees.

Keep an eye on the Twickets site or app to see if and when fans relist their tickets for sale.

Will Oasis record and release new music?

At this stage, it is not known whether Liam and Noel Gallagher will get back into the studio together to make new music.

They haven’t said that they definitely won’t, though. Indeed, fans are wondering if Liam Gallagher actually teased a new Oasis album a while ago without anyone noticing.

Back in April, a fan asked on X: “So when does the recording of the next Oasis album start?”

Liam simply replied: “November”.

While, at the time, it simply felt like a tongue-in-cheek-response, the post has now resurfaced, with some fans seeing it in an entirely different context. We'll all just have to wait and see.

Which songs will Oasis play on their 2025 tour?

Expect the hits. After all, there are plenty of them.

The band released seven studio albums, from their seminal debut album, Definitely Maybe, in 1994, to 2008’s Dig Out Your Soul.

Tracks from their first two albums - such as Live Forever, Cigarettes & Alcohol, Roll with It, Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger - have become part of the fabric of music culture.

Songs from later albums - including Go Let It Out and Stand by Me - are also fan-favourites.

Who will be in Oasis with Liam and Noel Gallagher?

It is not yet known which musicians will join Liam and Noel Gallagher to make up the band for their tour dates.

The original group featured Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, Paul “Guigsy” McGuigan and Tony McCarroll. There are unconfirmed reports that Bonehead is set to join the reunion.

Drummer McCarroll said: “I’m not holding my breath” when asked if he would be invited back into the band, but said he was “happy for Noel and Liam.”

Unconfirmed reports suggest that former members Andy Bell and Gem Archer are back in, and that son of Ringo Starr, drummer, Zak Starkey is being considered.

What are Noel and Liam saying about the reunion?

“This is it, this is happening," the brothers have both written on X.

Oasis commented: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

Ahead of the announcement, long-standing rumours of a reunion went up a notch when both musicians dropped a short clip on their social media accounts.

The video, styled with the classic Oasis logo, simply showed the date “27.08.24” before flickering to reveal “8am.”

The same clip was shown at the end of Liam’s Reading Festival set, just as he belted out Oasis classics like Cigarettes & Alcohol and Half The World Away. Introducing the latter, he said: “I wanna dedicate this song to Noel Gallagher."

The frontman also posted on X, “I never did like that word FORMER.”

When Liam joined the Chris Evans Breakfast Show in 2022, he had lots to say about Noel and Oasis. Watch the full interview here (warning: strong language):

When did Oasis break-up?

After forming in the early 90s, the Britpop act broke up in 2009 after a bust-up at Rock En Seine festival in Paris.

Noel and Liam went on to launch successful solo careers.
