The gang are on their way back for more shenanigans, as Sky has confirmed that the sixth season of Brassic is set to return to our screens later this month.

The NTA-nominated comedy series stars the likes of This Is England’s Joe Gilgun, Michelle Keegan from Fool Me Once and Ryan Sampson, who recently featured alongside Danny Dyer in Mr Bigstuff. The narrative follows a bunch of loveable petty criminals as they get themselves embroiled in all manner of scrapes, all the while trying to live through life’s daily struggles.

It has been revealed that series six of the hit show will return to Sky and NOW on 26th September.

The exciting news was shared today (9th September) on Sky’s official X account. Along with promotional imagery, the post reads: “Buckle up, they're back. #Brassic returns for series 6 on 26 September.”

The season six synopsis teases: “After an epic end to the last season, the gang are back with as much wild adventure and hilarity as ever.

“Reeling from the explosive encounter with Manolito, they set about getting their lives back in order. Only now the landscape is changing, people are getting older and the question of growing up looms in the air.

“But what does 'growing up' mean to a bunch like this?”

The description continues: “Season 6 is a madcap journey involving man-eating crocodiles, bigamists and a naked cult. The MacDonaghs are creating trouble again, stepping it up a gear as they get high on new-found power.

"And amongst all this, we’re taken on an emotional roller coaster, with some heartfelt goodbyes and new love interests on the horizon."

As well as starring in Mr Bigstuff, Ryan will reprise his role as Tommo in series 6 of Brassic, when the show returns to Sky Max and NOW in September.

When Ryan Sampson joined The Chris Evans Breakfast Show alongside his pal Danny Dyer, he spoke about the chances of giving our own Chris Evans a cameo in Brassic.

The actor, who reprises his role as Tommo in series six, said: “”We, the cast, really appreciate you supporting the show. It's very much been acknowledged.”

Danny jumped in, suggesting: “Set visit?”

Ryan went one further, saying: “Cameo?”

“Whack him in!” Danny added.
