Get ready to meet the cast of My Mum, Your Dad season two!

After last year’s first season of the single-parent dating show was a huge success, ITV have finally revealed that series two of the Davina McCall fronted series will begin airing on Monday, 16th September.

Now, after the show’s first eight contestants and their kids were revealed in last month’s first look trailer, it’s finally time to get to know this year’s stars in more detail.

Clare and Aimee

53-year-old homemaker and charity volunteer Clare is hoping to find love at the My Mum, Your Dad retreat after her 26-year-long marriage came to an end. She is entering the retreat along with the support of her 26-year-old daughter Aimee, who’s hoping her mum will be lucky in love on the show after dating apps left her struggling to spot the red-flags in potential relationships.

Andy and Issy

50-year-old property investor Andy has prioritised raising his two girls and caring for his elderly parents for many years. But now his kids are getting older and more independent, Andy’s 19-year-old daughter Issy is hoping My Mum, Your Dad will help prevent her father from having to spend the rest of his evenings on his own with just his dog for company.

Jenny and Malachi

51-year-old operations manager Jenny sees My Mum, Your Dad as her last ditch attempt at finding someone after 14 years living as a single mother. She is entering the retreat along with the support of her 19-year-old son Malachi, who’s hoping that his mum’s feelings about having exhausted all the possible ways of finding love will be proven wrong on the retreat.

Christian and Lucas

46-year-old teacher and mindset coach Christian has been single for two years and is struggling with single life. His 17-year-old son Lucas is hoping the My Mum, Your Dad retreat will help his dad find the romance he’s hoping for – although it was actually Lucas’ mum who first suggested he should put Christian up for the show!

Maria and Livia

51-year-old events coordinator and radio host Maria from Surrey is looking to prove her fears that turning 50 has put an end to her dating life wrong. Supported by her 19-year-old daughter Livia, Maria is hoping My Mum, Your Dad will also help her get over the insecurities about her 16-year-long marriage which came to a shock end.

Danny and Ellis

49-year-old sales controller Danny has been out of the dating game for seven years and feels like he’s lost all confidence. His 21-year-old son Ellis is hoping the retreat will help his dad believe that someone might like to be with him again, and help Danny heal the wounds and guilt left by some past mistakes.

Vicky and Angharad

50-year-old assistant principle Vicky has struggled with relationships following the break up of her first marriage. Her 28-year-old daughter Angharad has brought her mum on the show in the hopes she will be able to break her 10 years single streak and find herself a new partner.

David and Tiana

53-year-old property manager and developer David has got lost in the ‘dad life’ over the past few years, meaning his dating life has taken a backseat. But now, with the help of his 21-year-old daughter Tiana, the proud dad is ready to get back out there in his search for a strong, independent partner.

My Mum, Your Dad starts on Monday 16th September at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
