It's official - Sia has the most 'shazamed' track of 2016

Sia has beaten the likes of Coldplay, The Weeknd and Drake to the title of most 'shazamed' track of 2016. 

The singer's song was the most searched-for song on the app, which lets users identify songs by how they sound. 

The top four other tracks were  Kungs vs Cookin’ On 3 Burners, Alan Walker's and by Mike Posner. 

Drake was the most 'Shazamed' artist overall. 

The app has proven hugely popular, with 20 million uses a day. A new game show set around it is reportedly in the works.
