Liam Gallagher unveils solo US gig

Liam Gallagher has announced a new North American solo gig. 

The former Oasis frontman has said he will perform at the Osheaga Music & Arts festival in Montreal.

The Weeknd, Muse and Lorde are set to headline the festival, which will also see performances by London Grammar and Nina Kravitz. 

Meanwhile, Gallagher's been working on his debut solo album, following the signing of a record dead with Warner Bros last year.

The Manc warbler's got a busy summer planned with performances at Serbia’s EXIT Festival, Spain’s Benicàssim and Lollapalooza Paris in July.
