Monday 21st January welcomed the launch of The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with Sky, and what a week it's been!

Chris and the team welcomed a whole host of friends and celebrity guests to the brand new studios, and in case you need a little reminder (there's been so many!) here's a round-up of some of the highlights from week one.

Everyone had been wondering what the first song of the inaugural show would be, and Chris said 'I just press buttons... musicians play songs, so how about we get a musician to play a song this morning? Richard Ashcroft everybody!' before The Verve frontman kicked things off with a live performance of 'Lucky Man'. He played 6 songs throughout the show.

Richard Ashcroft was joined by Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan, Fay Ripley and Paul Whitehouse. Tuesday saw more star guests joining Chris on the 14th floor of the News UK building, with Anton DuBeke, Adrian Lester, Freida Pinto and live music from KT Tunstall (who was very impressed with the coffee cups!)

There was more live music on Wednesday from The Kooks, and Chris welcomed Ant Middleton, the Body Coach Joe Wicks, Living The Dream's Philp Glenister as they compared their plans for after the show.

Special guests on Thursday included Russell Howard, Simon Reeve and Genevieve O'Reilly, plus a performance from Texas, including a brilliant cover of 'Suspicious Minds'. Russell had a chat about 'cuddle therapy'

Everyone loves a Friday, and Chris didn't disappoint with comedian Greg Davies, the incredible Richard E Grant, chef Tom Kerridge, with live music from Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott. Richard was presented with a very special gift.

Chris is joined by the rest of his stellar team, with Vassos providing the sport, Rachel on the travel and regular news bulletins, exec producer Ellie, producers Meera and David, assistant producer Jayne and guest booker John.

The new show is ad-break free thanks to Sky, and it's half an hour longer too, from 6.30am to 10am.

Chris kicked off The Ministry of Now on Sunday with Professor Noel Fitzpatrick and Author of Find Your Thing Book Lucy Whittington.
