Noel Gallagher has spoken about his departure from Oasis and admits that he finds life much easier with the High Flying Birds.
The musician opened up about life in the band before their infamous split in 2009.
"One of the reasons it wasn't much of a struggle leaving Oasis was that we'd allowed ourselves to be dictated to by our audience," Gallagher said.
He added, "They wanted stadium rock and we thought that was it. Towards the end of Oasis I was getting restless and bored with the music. And now I trust my instincts."
Noel, who was trolled by Lewis Capaldi in his Glastonbury entrance on Saturday, says that life is calmer now that he's moved on from Oasis, "This is just serene. I've managed to get a load of people who are all on the same page, everybody's pulling in the same direction."
Noel Gallagher recently joined Chris and the team on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with Sky, check out the interview below.
