Sam Fender doing a free live stream festive gig with an orchestra

The singer-songwriter is going to lead the line-up for an upcoming free festive treat, Sage Gateshead Christmas Cracker.

Sam Fender said how excited he was about the gig where he will perform with the Royal Northern Sinfonia orchestra: “We're doing a free live stream of this for you guys. 

“Can't wait to perform a couple of songs with a full orchestra at one of my favourite venues, it's going to be a nice way to end the year!”

Also on the bill are Martha Hill and the Paul Edis band, The Young'uns and Voices of Virtue, Royal Northern Sinfonia and Chorus of Royal Northern Sinfonia.

Sage Gateshead said of the upcoming show: “We’re thrilled to announce Sage Gateshead Christmas Cracker, a spectacular streamed concert."

The event premieres on Friday 18th December and will be presented by award-winning saxophonist Jess Gillam and The Futureheads’ Ross Millard.
