Struggling to keep up with giving the kids a healthy diet while at home? Absolutely. This parent has made it a bit easier and shared her findings on Facebook for us to try and follow.

Posting on the group Lunchbox Mums, the parent added a photo to help you tick off the six different groups on it.

The groups of 1-6 include fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat or meat alternatives, grains and water.

The chart was devised by the Australian government to help parents know what to add to a packed lunch for school - but it's just as important even though we're all homeschooling.

So check the categories and make sure the little ones have some of these added to their lunches; a pear, carrot sticks, hummous dip, chicken kebab sticks and a water bottle.

The mum wrote: “This came in my preppys school pack. Thought it may be helpful to share here!”
