DIY woman gives dull bathroom a makeover with £14 stick-on tiles from Dunelm

A savvy DIY-er has pimped up her boring bathroom floor with some super-easy and cheap stick-on tiles from Dunelm.

Sharing the makeover on the Facebook group DIY on a Budget Official, the woman posted how a leak had given her incentive to jazz up the otherwise dull bathroom floor.

Posting the impressive pre and post makeover shots, she wrote: "I’m quite handy at decorating and putting up shelves etc, but had never attempted to lay flooring before, but I gave it a go."

Using £14 geometric tiles from Dunelm and extra adhesive to keep them fixed to the floor, she stuck them directly onto the MDF floor to give a fabulous new feel for just £40.

She said: "It really was easy, just fiddly to get around the toilet and waste pipe!"

Facebook users have praised the woman for her creativity and the envious end result with over 2,100 "likes" on the group.
