You know the saying. Try everything once... well, maybe not this. One woman from the US has been shocking people with her questionable culinary crisp skills.
With over 1.5 million views on TikTok, user Starley Reed shared the trick of making mashed potato with just a pan of boiling salted water and a packet of crisps.
Leaving them to cook/boil for five minutes then straining, the mixture turns into what appears to be mashed potato.
Putting the contents into a pan with butter and milk, voila, creamed potatoes that would make Nigella blush.
She then added some flavour with pre-grated cheese, onion powder, garlic powder and salt and pepper.

People have had their minds blown with this crisp craziness.
One user commented: "I've never seen someone unmake crisps."
Another joked: "What's something that looks illegal, but isn't illegal?"
A viewer added: "Have you never heard of potatoes?"

Others were shocked and wrote: "The sodium!" and: "How unhealthy is that?!"
Whereas others were keen to give it a bash and wrote: "I'm trying this tomorrow!" and: "What a great find."
