Surely the upcoming Sex and the City comeback can't go ahead without the infamous Mr Big? While it's going ahead without *sob* Kim Cattrall's Samantha - could Carrie and co also be missing their main man?

Although it hasn't been officially confirmed for better or for worse, actor Chris Noth responded to a fan who asked about the reports on social media and wrote: "Everything changes - including announcements in the rags."

While he also mocked the rumours referring to a report from Page Six and commented alongside a winking emoji: "Well if Page Six says it... it must be true."

David Eigenberg who starred as Steve said recently about stepping into his SATC shoes once again: "You know, we'll see what happens with that. I got to check in with some people about it and we'll see what happens. I don't have any answers on that.

"You know, my time there was a beautiful time and I'm very lucky to have been a part of that and we'll just have to see what happens."

SJP recently told Vanity Fair about the new series: “I think that Cynthia, Kristin, and I are all excited about the time that has passed. You know, who are they in this world now? Have they adapted? What part have they played?

"Where have they fallen short as women, as friends, and how are they finding their way? Did they move with momentum? Are they like some people who are confused, threatened, nervous by what’s happening in the world? I’m so curious and excited to see how the writers imagine these women today.”
