If you’ve been missing going out for a Maccies and any other tempting treats, you’ll be pleased to know that there’s not too long to wait until the doors are open again. Although you may have to bring a brolly knowing the British weather.

With restaurants and pubs set to reopen for outside bookings from April 12 (please don’t rain) lockdown restrictions are hopefully on the way out.

Plus if all goes to plan from May 17 the hospitality industry will be allowed to open up its dusty doors for indoor bookings.

In the meantime, here’s the list of eateries set to open up when and where:

Byron

Seventeen of its 20 restaurants will be open from April 12 from 12pm until 9pm or 10pm for outdoor seating.

According to The Sun they are even hoping to set up outdoor bars at a few of its venues. The full list of Byron restaurants opening are:

Bury St Edmunds

Cambridge

Chelmsford

Lothian Road (Edinburgh)

Royal Mile (Edinburgh)

Leeds

Liverpool

Manchester

Milton Keynes

Norwich

Old Brompton Road

Oxford

Salisbury

York

Waterloo

Southampton

Ipswich

Nando's

Plans are set to reopen some of the 340 restaurants - but they can’t confirm which ones yet or what will be on the menu.

Luckily many are still open for takeaways and deliveries.

Pho

Outdoor seating is the way forward for Pho from April 12 with 13 out of its 30 UK restaurants open.

The full list includes:

Balham

Chiswick

Ealing

Wimbledon

Brighton

Exeter

Guildford

Leciester

Oxford

Portsmouth

Sheffield

Manchester

Liverpool

Honest Burgers

With 45 restaurants across the UK, half are closed while half are open for takeaways and deliveries.

The burger chain told The Sun it’s unsure if they will open their doors this April.

KFC

KFC won’t be opening up its wings until at least May 17 due to no outdoor seating.

For fried chicken fans, it’s still open for takeaway and deliveries.

Toby Carvery

It’s unsure whether TC will open up mid April because of the ‘inability to operate profitably under the restrictions’, so it appears they will keep the 158 eateries around the UK closed and are not offering takeaway.

McDonald's

Maccies may or may not reopen with outdoor seating this April but they are planning on reopening branches for walk-in takeaways from this week.

Having been available for delivery and takeaway, they now also deliver straight to your car so you can bypass the drive-thru queue.

Greene King

It’s unsure when and if the Greene King pubs will open.

With 1,700 around the country, last year the brewery delayed its reopening to make sure branches ‘were as safe as possible’.

Harvester

Harvester is working on future plans but thirsty and hungry punters will have to wait longer than April 12 for any of its 230 venues to reopen.

O'Neills

With 49 Irish bars across the UK, none are open or have plans currently to re-emerge yet.

Franco Manca

The pizza chain are hoping to reopen in April with around 40 of its 52 eateries having outdoor seating.

Wagamamas

The tasty noodle chain hasn’t yet made the decision whether to open any of its 135 eateries in the UK.

But you can still get your fix from takeaways and deliveries.

All Bar One

With 56 UK bars, it’s undecided when and if they will open again.

However, it’s unlikely they will re-open this April when many others do.
