Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham confirms release date for Outlander stars

What we'd give to be buckled up in the back of this vehicle with these two. Outlander actors Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish are set to star in the eagerly-awaited upcoming travel series Men in Kilts - and now we know exactly when to hit record.

Confirmed by RadioTimes, the reality TV show 'celebrating Scottish history and culture' will be available to stream on premium service StarzPlay from Sunday, May9.

Theeight half-hour long episodes will follow the duo travel across bonnie Scotland while learning all about its 'rich, complex heritage, meeting various local artisans and experts, and experiencing genuine moments of awe and fascination'.

With banter and local booze on the menu, they'll be getting stuck into folk dancing and all the fun of living north of the border.

Outlander actor Sam joined the Chris Evans Breakfast Show with Sky recently to talk about his new action thriller movie as well as an unhealthy fascination with deep fried Mars Bars.

He told Chris about his diet: “I’m currently having a donut for my breakfast.

"I got send some mini donuts the other day. I didn't even bother to sit down to eat them. I just stood there in my kitchen and just consumed the whole lot.

"Try deep fried pizza and chips. It’s a heart attack on a plate, but I can tell you right now it's something of beauty.”
