All hail Josh.
What's in a name? Josh might not seem like the most unusual of names, but it's made headlines this week.
The King of all Joshes has been crowned.
Hundreds of people, all called Josh, gathered together in a field to battle it out in the US.
First of all, they played Rock, Paper, Scissors. Next, they battled each other with foam pool noodles. As you do.
I think the pandemic might have got to us all a little bit.
The idea was created by Josh Swain, a student from Tucson in Arizona.
He set up a group chat and added everyone he could find with the same name, Josh Swain, just because he could.
Things snowballed from there.
He picked a random location, only for hundreds of people to turn up in Nebraska for the event.
KLKN-TV reports that Josh Swain from Omaha beat the original Josh from Arizona at the ‘gruelling and righteous’ battle of Rock, Paper Scissors.
Anyone with the first name Josh could enter the pool noodle competiton.
The winner of that battle was a five-year-old, who was given a Burger King crown.
The original Josh, said he was surprised by how popular it was. ‘I did not expect people to be as adamant about this as they are right now,’ he said.
