Stephen Mulhern on whether he’s the Zip on The Masked Dancer

Has Stephen Mulhern unzipped any secrets that he's going to be the Zip on the Masked Dancer? The presenter with the fancy footwork spoke to Lorraine Kelly about whether or not it is him starring in the potty programme.

Appearing on her show, he said: "I don’t know whether you’ve heard this rumour that I am meant to be on the Masked Dancer?"

Lorraine replied: "Yes, as the Zip – we were talking about it earlier on!"

Stephen said after watching himself dance on Saturday Night Takeaway: "Well, the problem is now you have seen me doing those sort of dance moves… that’s who they think I am.

"Am I? That’s the big question. Well the truth of it is, at school I was called Mulhern the Mover, so…

"Snake hips Stevie, that’s what they called me! So is it me? Well, you’re going to find out soon."

The ITV show will air soon and feature judges Davina McCall, Oti Mabuse, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan. 

Alongside Zip there are other characters Carwash, Llama, Beagle, Rubber Chicken and Knickerbocker Glory.
