The Masked Singer's Jenny McCarthy fails to recognise her husband on the US show

The Masked Singer always unleashes some hidden celebrity surprises that you'd never expect. So imagine the shock of judge Jenny McCarthy when an outfit came off and underneath the disguise was her husband. 

In yesterday's semi-finals there was a sing-off between Black Swan, Chameleon, Piglet, Yeti and Cluedle-Doo and it was a double bon voyage to Yeti and Cluedle-Doo.

While Yeti was guessed as singer and rapper Omarion by judge Robin Thicke, fellow panellist Jenny McCarthy wasn't having such a successful evening.

After wrongly guessing Cluedle-Doo was Akon, it was then revealed to be... da da da... her husband Donnie Wahlberg.

She wrote on Twitter after the shock show: "This is gonna take a while to get over.

"The shame. Thank God @DonnieWahlberg still loves me. Amazing job tonight mister. I love you."

One fan posted: "It was amazing. Love ur reaction @JennyMcCarthy and loved the butt shaking @DonnieWahlberg but love ur voice & heart more!! Great job!! #maskedsinger."
