Anton has given a new insight into his family life and how he and wife Hannah are choosing to raise their four-year-old twins George and Henrietta.

Speaking to Hello! Magazine, Anton admitted they try and show ‘no encouragement in either direction’ when it comes to gender, and allows them to make up their minds when it comes to things like clothing and toys.

Anton said: “We’ve told them, ‘You can do what you like, wear what you like,’ but George likes Spiderman and Hot Wheels, and Henrietta likes butterflies and unicorns.

“He crashes around more than she does. But there was no encouragement in either direction.”

Inclusivity is seemingly on Anton’s mind following the incredible success of the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Actress Rose Ayling-Ellis became the first deaf winner of the dancing competition, while runners up John Whaite and Johannes Radebe were the first male same-sex couple on the series.

On the incredible finale, Anton added: “[Strictly has] "always been at the forefront of inclusivity.

“This year is no different with John and Johannes dancing together, and Rose being the first deaf person in the competition. It just goes to show how Strictly mirrors what is going on in the wider society."

Anton is keeping his fingers very crossed that he’ll be able to judge more incredible dancers in the 2022 series of Strictly - having replaced Bruno Tonioli as a judge.

On being asked back next year, Anton replied: “I'd be delighted. They wouldn't even have to finish the sentence. I've loved every second of it.

"I do love the dancing, but I don't love getting voted off. I love being in the show."

Anton had nothing but praise for the latest glitterball trophy recipient Rose, who made history with her win on Saturday night.

Taking to Twitter after the big finale, Anton wrote: “Magnificent performances from both couples tonight - a truly world class final! And to Rose & Giovanni, our new #Strictly champions... #JustPerfect!

“Pure joy, intensely moving, and incredibly inspirational - many congratulations, my loves, you were sensational!”
