The interactive new game has arrived in Manchester.

If you've ever yelled at the TV thinking you could do a better job than the contestants in ITV's The Cube, then you're in luck.

It has opened in the Arndale Centre in Manchester and gives fans a chance to have a go at some of the fiendishly tricky games you know and love from the show.

Two people can take part in an hour and a half of the games for £60.

Fear not - if you fail a game you don't get the boot as you do on the show.

There's no Philip Schofield there either, but there are the bright lights, the voiceovers and the blindfolds from the series.

The games vary from the intersecting balance beams to getting the iconic red balls into one of the tubes.

The creators say: "This high-octane game show sees contestants attempt seemingly simple tasks within the high-pressure confines of the iconic Perspex box.

"Gone are the days of enjoying THE CUBE from the comfort of your sofa. Now the award-winning hit show has left the studio and for the first time ever YOU can take it on.

"THE CUBE Live drops you right into the intensity of the TV game show. It may look straightforward when you watch at home, but will you be able to hold your own when you are faced with THE CUBE?"

The Cube is played in a group of four people. If you purchase for two players, you will be grouped with two other players.

Larger groups will be split into teams.

You can book tickets for The Cube here.

Many game shows have taken the leap into the real world recently.

Not far away from The Cube is I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! interactive experience in Salford's Mediacity.
