Much-loved comedian Sean Lock passed away aged 58 in August, and his good friend Bill Bailey made sure to mark six months after his passing.
Sean had been suffering from lung cancer, and the terrible loss devastated the TV and comedy world.
Bill made sure to make the six-month anniversary of Sean’s death with an incredibly sweet post to social media.
In the photo he shared to Twitter, Bill and Sean are standing in a field with their arms across each other’s shoulders.
The touching caption said: “Six months since we lost Sean. Miss him every day.”
It’s not the first time the Strictly Come Dancing winner shared a loving tribute to his friend.
Back on Christmas Day, Bill shared another picture, seemingly on another countryside walk, and wrote: “Today I’m thinking about my old pal Sean Lock, and his family. And I’m sending out good thoughts to all those of you who are missing someone today.”
Bill’s tribute comes just a few days after Sean’s first posthumous episode of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown aired during the latest series, marking one of Sean’s final appearances on the series.
Fans watching were left in tears - and even more so after Jon Richardson's heartfelt words.
Richardson paid tribute on Twitter and wrote: "Watching Sean's last ep of Countdown I can see how upset I was knowing he was ill and how much that affected my performance, while Sean himself continued to be effortlessly hilarious.
"A true comic to the end. That's why he's trending on Twitter and why he's so missed."
The episode also marked his passing with an 'in memory of' title card.
