Hopefully, the Game Of Throne's star has better luck in this one.

Sean Bean is starring in a new BBC four-part drama titled Marriage.

The show follows a husband and wife, Ian (Bean) and Emma (Nicola Walker) as they attempt to navigate the highs and lows that come with a 30-year marriage.

"We see them dealing with the insecurities, the ambiguities, the hopes and the fears that are part of all marriages, as the drama explores the risks and the gifts of a long-term intimate relationship. Sometimes funny, sometimes moving, always revealing," a description of the show says.

Emma's dad Gerry is played by James Bolam, and The Inbetweeners actor Henry Lloyd-Hughes #plays her boss Jamie.

The couple's daughter Jessica is played by Chantelle Alle.

An exact release date is yet to be announced but it will be later this year.

Bean has been keeping busy, and recently reflected on the 20 year anniversary of his role of Boromir in The Fellowship Of The Ring.

He told Digital Spy: "It was just such a wonderful experience to be part of something that, you know, I'd read as a teenager, and I read it quite thoroughly. And that was it. I put the book down. And then to be asked to play the part of Boromir – all the characters are kind of set in stone now. They're kind of legendary,"

"To do that was such a great thing to be able to do. I never thought it would take off as it did, you know? We weren't aware of what they were doing with all the other units, and how they were putting it all together."

Game Of Thrones fans can now visit a studio tour and see many of the sets and costumes from the show they love in Northern Ireland.
