'Suicide Squad' spinoff 'Peacemaker' will air on UK TV later this month

John Cena stars as Peacemaker, repeating his role from the 'Suicide Squad' sequel.

The new series has found a channel in the UK and an air date has been confirmed.

Fans can finally watch it later this month, after it originally aired in the US back in January.

As well as Cena, 'Peacemaker' also stars Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma and Chukwudi Iwuji.

The official description reads: “Peacemaker will explore the origins of the character that John Cena first portrayed in James Gunn’s 2021 film, The Suicide Squad – a compellingly vainglorious man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it.”

Get your diary ready: 'Peacemaker' will be available to watch on Sky Max and NOW from March 22.

After the series aired in the US, critics called it a “gloriously goofy sendup and a sincere character study”.
