There's a trailer! And a release date!

Based on the British writer and podcaster’s 2018 memoir of the same name, Everything I Know About Love will star The Witcher’s Emma Appleton as the lead Maggie, alongside Bel Powley as Birdy, Marli Siu as Nell and Aliyah Odoffin as Amara with Connor Finch as Street, Jordan Peters as Neil and Ryan Bown as Nathan. The show comes to BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Tuesday, June 7th.

All seven episodes will be available to watch as a boxset on BBC iPlayer from this date.

Directed by Pennyworth’s China Moo-Young, the series - like the memoir - is set in a 2012 London house-share, with flashbacks to the characters lives in the early noughties.

The show is described by the BBC as 'a generous, funny, warm-hearted and uplifting Sex & The City for Millennials', while, on the casting, author Dolly, 32, said: "I am beyond thrilled with every actor we have on board for Everything I Know About Love".

In related news, rising Sheffield born popstar Self Esteem - also known as Rebecca Lucy Taylor - has announced that she will be providing three cover version for the series, one of which is confirmed to be Fine Young Cannibals 1988 hit, 'She Drives Me Crazy'.

'Everything I Know About Love' will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on June 7th
