Fans of Celebrity Gogglebox are celebrating the upcoming return of two of the show’s most popular faces, as Rylan Clark has said that he and his mum are returning to the sofa.

The presenter was forced to miss the last series of the hit Channel 4 show, due to his mother Linda suffering ill health.

Linda has been battling Crohn's disease, but Rylan took to Twitter today (25th May) to give fans the good news that the duo would be back when the new series starts on Friday June 10th.

Sharing a promotional picture of himself and his mum from the show, he simply wrote: “We're back x”

Safe to say his followers were chuffed at the announcement. One person commented: “Great news, we missed you and Linda.”

Another added: “I can’t wait!!! Gogglebox isn’t the same without you both.”

Someone else said: “Amazing, love you and your Mum, great banter x”

Rylan and Linda first appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox back in 2019, and immediately became favourites thanks to their hilarious interactions.

The new series will replace the regular Gogglebox on our Friday nights when the current run of shows comes to an end, and will feature some familiar telly watchers, as well as one new face.

Duncan James from Blue will make his debut on the show alongside Denise van Outen, replacing Eddie Boxshall after the couple called it quits in January.

Duncan shared the news on Instagram, saying: “Can't wait to start filming @c4gogglebox with my bestie @vanouten_denise.”

It has yet to be announced which other celebs will appear in the new series, but regulars include Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp and his son Roman, footy pundits Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards, and Happy Mondays legends Shaun Ryder and Bez.
