Steve Carell to read CBeebies Bedtime Story

If you've got kids - or even if you just like lovely stories reading to you - you will know that CBeebies Bedtime Story regularly books huge Hollywood stars to read the latest children's book on TV.

Previous guests who have read CBeebies Bedtime Stories include Harry Styles, Tom Hiddleston, Tom Hardy, David Schwimmer, Dolly Parton, Felicity Jones and Dave Grohl.

Now it's been confirmed that Steve will read from Steve Smallman's book The Eyebrows of Doom - about a pair of mischievous eyebrows that cause havoc, we've all been there - on Friday, July 1st.

"I loved reading to my kids when they were younger so it was a great pleasure to read a Bedtime Story for CBeebies, The Office star said in a statement.

Steve's bedtime story will air in the U.K. at 6.50 pm and he will also be seen afterwards on the BBC's TikTok reading through parent viewers' funny observations.

Steve can also been seen in Minions: The Rise of Gru, reprising the villain Gru - a role he first appeared in way back in 2010's Despicable Me - in cinemas now.
