The Hoff is 70! Yep, believe it or not, David Hasselhoff hit the big seven-oh at the weekend, and he celebrated by having a bash with some of his old chums from Baywatch.

As the legend entered his eighth decade on Sunday (17th July), he celebrated with a party at a bar in California, which was attended by several actors from the iconic lifeguard show, which he starred in from 1989 until 2000.

David Chokachi, Kelly Packard, Jeremy Jackson and Parker Stevenson, who patrolled the beach in their red swimming gear back in the day, all dropped into The Hoff’s shindig.

Kelly Packard, who played April Giminski on the show, posted some pictures of the event on Instagram, including one of herself with the big man, saying: “Happy birthday to the man, the myth, the legend! One of my hero’s turned 70 today! You will never meet a more generous, kind, talented man! I am so happy we could celebrate with you!! And as always good to see all my cast mates and friends.”

David Chokachi, who appeared as Cody Madison, also posted a picture on his Instagram account of himself with The Hoff.

Captioning the picture, he wrote: “Great celebrating @davidhasselhoff 70th, he’s such an amazing human being with so much love to share with the world . So many great adventures shared with this guy! Much love!”

Parker Stevenson, who played Craig Pomeroy in the series, and Jeremy Jackson, who starred as Hobie Buchannon, also posed for photos with the birthday boy.

The Hoff - who is also known for starring in Night Rider, and released a number of singles as a pop star - shared a video from his party.

The clip sees attendees - including a clown on stilts - singing Happy Birthday to him, as he stands in front of a big birthday cake. At the conclusion of the song, he blows out the candles.

Happy birthday David, from everyone at Virgin Radio!
