TV presenter Decan Donnelly has shared the birth of his second child and reveals his perfect second name.
The I’m A Celebrity star, who is one half of the duo Ant and Dec, took to his social media accounts to share the happy news on Sunday (24 July).
He wrote: “Shortly before 10am yesterday, 23.7;2022, Ali and I welcomed the arrival of our son, Jack Anthony Alphonsus, a very welcome ray of light.”
The presenter also shared an adorable picture of his son’s tiny hand wrapped around one of his fingers.
Jack is the second child Donnelly has welcomed with his wife Ali Astall, who he married in 2015. Their first, Isla Elizabeth Anne, was born in 2018.
The comments under his Instagram post announcing Jack's birth, were flooded with well wishes from fans and several famous faces, including footballing legend Alan Shearer, who said: “Congratulations man.”
Love Island host Laura Whitmore also commented: “Delighted for you both! Congrats xx” with a heart emoji.
Cat Deeley, who presented SMTV with Ant Dec back in the 90s, said: “That is wonderful news! Congratulations…Sending love.”
TV Chef Jamie Oliver also wrote: “Congratulations to you all xxxxx”.
Donnelly is probably now best known for presenting the hit ITV show I’m A Celebrity alongside Ant, and it was recently announced there would be a special All-Stars spin-off of the show this year.
The I’m A Celeb spin-off would be recorded in South Africa in July but then shown in 2023, following the planned series in November and will bring back previous contestants from the past 20 years.
The exciting news comes after ITV confirmed the long-running series would return to the Australian jungle.
The show has had to set up camp in Wales’ Gwrych Castle for the last two years due to the coronavirus pandemic, but with Australia’s border restrictions easing, the stars will be subjected to all the Jungle has to offer once again.
